Peace in Afghanistan under the shadows of US-China relations
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Author: Abdul Basir Sohaib Siddiqi Date : 31.10.2020 After the collapse of Soviet Union, the world went towards unipolar system and new world order established in the world, it means that a unipolar world power in the form of new world order dominated the world that replaced the old relations and paradigms. Then, in the course of time, China emerges slowly as an economic power in the world. It is notable, that during this crucial time relations between US and Pakistan became weak due to the collapse of Soviet Union and the collapse of pro-Soviet Communist party in Afghanistan. It means that, Pakistan has lost its strategic importance in US foreign policy.
